Police seeking for hit-and-run driver


LOGAN, W.Va. — Officials in Logan County are looking for a driver involved in a hit and run that happened around the Cora area.

The accident happened Monday around 10 p.m. near Save-a-Lot in Holden.

The victim was taken to the hospital after the accident and is reported to be in serious condition.

Investigators are working to see if there are any surveillance cameras in the area, which may help in the case. West Virginia State Police are asking any person with knowledge of the incident to speak up.

Police said the person responsible was driving a silver Jeep Liberty.
