Logan County Cleanup ending


The Logan County Commission’s Annual Logan County Cleanup will end after Saturday for county residents. The free garbage dumping will be today, Aug. 27, and Saturday, Aug. 28, at the old K City location in Ellis Addition. Hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. The DEP will be on site to accept tires. Residents are also allowed to dispose of electronics, appliances and large items. You may be asked to show proof of Logan County residence before dumping. Pictured, Chapmanville area residents were allowed free dumping on Aug. 12-13.
