LCC has short agenda at Monday meeting

LOGAN, W.Va. — The Logan County Commission (LCC) held its first meeting for September Monday with a short agenda.

The agenda began with the approval of the adoption of the minutes from the August 22 meeting. Exonerations of erroneous assessment were approved and signed and a bid on interest rates from LB&T was approved.

The LCC also approved the Xerox Copier contract and the Logan County Clerk’s listing of election officers for the upcoming General Election.

Funding requests was made by the Man High School Swim Team and Golf teams. Each team was approved for funds of $500.

The fire department and 911 EOC reports were approved. 911 reported that during August there were 162 runs by the fire departments; 1,764 runs by law enforcement and 1,417 runs by LEASA for a total of 6,159 runs.

The meeting was adjourned following the approval of routine orders and bills and invoices.
