Grand Jury indicts father, son on meth lab charges

LOGAN, W.Va. — A father and son has been indicted on charges of operating a clandestine drug laboratory in Circuit Judge Eric O’Briant’s court.

Those indicted during the September 2016 term in Judge O’Briant’s court were:

16F1260: Andrew David Boggess was indicted for two counts attempted burglary, two counts conspiracy to commit attempted burglary, destruction of property and trespassing.

16F1270: Jarrell Wayne Boggess was indicted for two counts attempted burglary, two counts conspiracy to commit attempted burglary, destruction of property and trespassing.

16F1280: Franklin William Chippent was indicted for grand larceny, conspiracy, destruction of property and trespassing.

16F1290: Vanessa Chippent was indicted for grand larceny, conspiracy, destruction of property and trespassing.

16F1300: Keiffer Conley III was indicted for two counts attempted burglary, two counts conspiracy to commit attempted burglary, destruction of property and trespassing.

16F1310: Gene Edward Daugherty was indicted for operating a clandestine drug laboratory, possession of substances to be used as precursor to manufacture of methamphetamine or another controlled substance, conspiracy to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, and conspiracy to possess pseudophedrine as precursor to manufacture of methamphetamine.

16F1320: Nevada Davis was indicted for three counts delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

16F1330: Nevada Davis was indicted for two counts possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with intent to deliver, and four counts conspiracy.

16F1340: Shawn Dempsey (father) was indicted for operating a clandestine drug laboratory, possession of substances to be used as precursor to manufacture of methamphetamine or another controlled substance, conspiracy to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, and conspiracy to possess pseudophedrine as precursor to manufacture of methamphetamine or another controlled substance.

16F1350: Shawn Dempsey (son) was indicted for operating a clandestine drug laboratory, possession of substances to be used as precursor to manufacture of methamphetamine or another controlled substance, conspiracy to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, and conspiracy to possess pseudophedrine as precursor to manufacture of methamphetamine or another controlled substance.

16F1360: Ronald Hall was indicted for grand larceny, driving while license revoked and conspiracy.

16F1370: David Benton Hopkins II was indicted for breaking and entering, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16F1380: Austin Hurless was indicted for two counts felony fleeing causing bodily injury, fleeing with reckless indifference to safety of others, two counts DUI causing serious bodily injury, bringing stolen property into the state, failure to obey traffic control device and reckless driving.

16F1390: Jennifer Jarrell was indicted for grand larceny and conspiracy.

16F1400: James Ray McComas was indicted for breaking and entering, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

16F1410: Malcolm Meade was indicted for fleeing with reckless indifference to safety of others, fleeing in vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs, driving while license revoked for DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs, DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs, reckless driving, failure to yield, operation of a vehicle without evidence of registration and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

16F1420: Jonathan Porter was indicted for malicious assault and two counts felony destruction of property.

16F1430: Josh Michael Reed was indicted for three counts sexual assault in the first degree and three counts sexual abuse in the first degree.

16F1440: Chad Eric Smith was indicted for felony destruction of property, retaliation against a public official, driving while license suspended, obstructing an officer/resisting arrest, and DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs.

16F1450: Linda Kay Spears was indicted for seven counts delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance second offense.

16F1460: Tony Stollings was indicted for driving while license revoked for DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs third or subsequent offense, improper registration, no insurance and operation of vehicles with safety belts.

16F1470: Brenton Ray Vaughn was indicted for burglary and grand larceny.

It was not released as to when arraignments would begin in Judge O’Briant’s court.
