HAZARD—Troopers with the Kentucky State Police along with federal agents collected evidence and questioned individuals at the Ace Clinique of Medicine on Roy Campbell Drive in Hazard as part of what has been confirmed as a federal investigation.

“This is part of an ongoing investigation, therefore we cannot comment,” Kyle Edelen, spokesman for the Eastern District of Kentucky’s U.S. Attorney’s Office, said. He added that the office can neither confirm nor deny any details of an investigation while it is ongoing to ensure that any possible defendant receives a fair and impartial trial.

The Herald called the Clinique Monday afternoon and received an automated message telling callers that the Clinique is currently closed.

The Herald will have more information on this story as it becomes available.
