THREE MILE CURVE — Logan-Mingo School of Practical Nursing, located at Ralph R. Willis Career and Technical Center, has announced their 2013 HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) National Conference League winners.


Winners shown left to right Jessika Maynard-second place for Pathophysiology; Trei Thomas-eighth place for Health Career Display; Wendy Walls- eighth place for Career Health Display; Talena Curry- third place for HOSA Bowl; HOSA advisor Lisa Perry, RN; Heather Leslie- third place for HOSA Bowl; Tanya Tucker- third place for HOSA Bowl; Tammy Shadd- second place for Community Awareness; Brittany Cantrell-second place for Community Awareness; and Betty Jane Willard- first place for Medical Photography.


HOSA 2013 competition was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., with more than 7,500 in attendance from 48 states.


As always, Ralph R. Willis is proud of their students’ accomplishments through their excellence and application of their skills as well as their instructors/advisors Melissa Perry, RN, BSN, MA; Connie Thompson, RN, and Lisa Perry, RN.
