Criminal Complaints filed in the Magistrate Court of Logan County document the arrest of Amber Schultz, 28, of Switzer, and Samuel Dwayne Schultz, 28, of Switzer.


West Virginia State Police arrested Amber Schultz as a result of activities that took place on or about May 23, 2013, when she allegedly delivered cocaine base (crack) to a cooperating individual in exchange for previously recorded U.S. currency. She was arrested and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony for which anyone, if convicted,, may be imprisoned in the state correctional facility for not less than one year nor more than fifteen years, or fined not more than $25,000, or both.


On May 14, 2013, Samuel Schultz is accused of delivering Cocaine base (crack) to a cooperating individual in exchange for previously recorded U.S. currency, with his son present throughout the transaction. He is also accused of delivering cocaine base (crack) in exchange for U.S. currency on June 2 and June 12, 2013. He was arrested and charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony for which anyone, if convicted, may be imprisoned in the state correctional faccility for not less than one year nor more than fifteen years, or fined not more than $25,000, or both. He is also charged with child neglect resulting in injury.


Bond for each was set at $50,000.
