A complaint was filed in the Magistrate Court of Logan County by the West Virginia State Police.

The victim told the officer he had seen his ex-wife, Jeannie Pruitt, 36, of Chapmanville, leaving his road in the community of Chapmanville. He told the officer his ex-wife stopped him in the road and told him she hoped he liked the surprise she left him.

The officer was advised there was a gun missing out of a safe and a TV and DVD player were missing from the residence.

The victim advised the officer Ms. Pruitt left a message on his phone saying she hopes he likes the the surprise that she left him.
