David Graham filed for candidacy with the Secretary of State, for the House of Delegates in the 24th district. He filed as a Democrat.
David resides in Pecks Mill, with his wife, Melissa and daughter Ella.
Graham is active with The Our Children, Our Future campaign and has hosted and presented at Child Poverty forums. He promotes strong Democratic principals and values that will aid the common good and benefit the citizens of West Virginia. He is pro-union and is in support of coal miners. He opposes Right To Work legislation, because it offers no protection for workers’ rights. He is in favor of increasing the minimum wage and providing workers with a living wage. He believes that wages should be tied to inflation. This is why he supports the WV Future Fund as a method of creating a long term revenue stream for our state. His emphasis will be on job creation and economic growth. Workforce development and infrastructure for businesses will be a high priority. He is a proponent of public education and believes in maintaining quality schools with high standards. He will work for salary increases for school teachers and support personnel. He is committed to making our government more open to input from constituents and offering maximum access and transparency in its proceedings and decisions.
He has promised to accept no donations from coal and gas corporations. His focus will be on investing in West Virginia workers, as he works to help create a greater quality of life for all West Virginians.
