MONTGOMERY — WVU Tech women’s basketball head coach Jenna Everhart continued adding to her 2014-15 recruiting class with the addition of Julie Conway this week.

Conway joins signees Kaitlynn Propst and Brett Justice.

Conway, a 5-foot-10-inch guard and post player out of Uneeda, W. Va., comes to Tech from Scott High School where she earned varsity letters all four years in basketball. She also received letters in track and field (4) and cross country (2).

The daughter of Karen Conway helped Scott towards Sectional and Regional Championships her freshman and sophomore years, earning State Runner-Up both years. Conway also led the team towards a Regional Championship in track and field sophomore year.

Graduating with honors this spring from Scott, the incoming Golden Bear plans to study Zoology at Tech beginning in the fall. Conway’s cousin, Stevie Humphrey, is a WVU Tech alumni.
