Flip-N-Twist Gymnastics Camp. Flip-N-Twist Gym, located at 404 Main Street in downtown Logan, will be holding its 19th-annual gymnastics camp from July 21-25. The camp’s instructors are the coaches from the three-time defending national champion Cheeriffic All-Star cheerleaders. This year’s camp theme comes from the movie Frozen. The camp will be divided into two groups — Olaf’s Flurries for ages 2-6 and Swirling Storms for ages 7-and-up. The Olaf’s Flurries Camp runs July 22-25 at the Flip-N-Twist Gym. The price is $35 per camper and the camp hours are 4:30-6 p.m. You can pre-register on July 22 from 4-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22 is opening day. July 23 is Bring a Friend Day. July 24 is Frozen Day. July 25 is the Awards Ceremony Day. The Swirling Storms camp runs July 21-25. The price is $55 per camper and the camp hours are 6:30-8:30 p.m. each day. You can pre-register on Monday, July 21 from 6-6:30 p.m. On Monday, it is opening day. On Tuesday it is Bring a Friend Day. On Wednesday it is Pink Out Day. On Thursday it is Frozen Day. Girls Basketball Tournament. There will be a girls basketball tournament, sponsored by the Mingo County Commission, on August 1-3 for ages 10-11 years old; 12-13 years old; and 14-15 years old. There will be an entry fee of $125 if paid before July 25 and $150 if paid after July 25. All proceeds will go to the Harry L. Joyce Center.
