Living from the inside out

We must strive to live from the inside out in our day and time. With pressures mounting from every side to abolish our core values and principles, we must live differently. We must strive to show the world that He who lives on the inside is greater than he who lives in the world. To accomplish this we must remember two things.

First, we have to remember that we are NOT a body that has a soul… that has a spirit. Instead, we are a spirit that lives in a soul… that lives in a body. If we don’t understand this, we will either be ruled by circumstance or by feelings and thoughts. We cannot let circumstances define us; we cannot be ruled by our thoughts and feelings. We must strive to trust the “inner voice” of God. We have to know that even if things look bad in the natural, God is working in ways we cannot imagine, bringing about good in our lives.

Secondly, we have to realize God’s power comes from within us. He distinguished humans, by placing a portion of Himself into each of us. We are to lean on this during all seasons of our lives but especially the tough times. Our true value is not in our talents, gifts, or abilities but on what God has put inside us to share with the world.

I challenge you to live differently. Trust what God has done in you, share it with others, and watch do amazing things.
