PRIDE Community Services is announcing plans to submit a Brownfield Cleanup grant application to the Environmental Protection Agency for cleanup of the former Logan Junior High School located on Stratton St in Logan, WV. This application will request EPA funds to assist with cleanup of known contamination at specified locations on the site. The EPA encourages public participation in this application process to ensure community awareness and that community needs are being considered related to property redevelopment. A draft version of the application will be available for review and comment beginning Monday, Nov 5, 2012 at PRIDE Offices 699 Stratton St, Logan & online at www.prideinlogan.com.
