Richard and Dorothy Davis of Jacksboro, Tenn., recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Dorothy, formerly of Blair, is a retired registered nurse from St. Mary’s Hospital in Livonia, Mich. Richard, formerly of Chapmanville, is a retired security officer from GM Corp in Detroit, Mich. The couple has one son, Joseph Davis of Peoria, Ariz., and two granddaughters, Kirsten, 11, and Emily, 9. Dorothy enjoys acrylic painting and cooking; Richard enjoys collecting Civil War Books.
