The Democratic party opened up its local headquarters in Logan on Saturday, Sept. 29, on Old Logan Road in the former Mike Ferrell car lot. The headquarters is staffed by Steven Wolfe and is open during normal business hours. Pictured above, W.Va. Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, left, came home to attend the opening of the headquarters. Also pictured are Chapmanville Mayor Jerry Price Jr., far right, and Jeremy Farley, WVU extension agent to Logan County.

How can anyone in West Virginia be proud to be a Democrat anymore? I would change parties if I were these men. Obama is a sad excuse for a leader. I would not want my name associated with him at all.

I don't know how these Democrats in Logan County take it upon themselves to vote for Romney. After all, OBAMA is the leader of the Democratic party! First of all I AM for coal mining! My family and generations before were all miners (deep mining). However, there are many other factors to consider while deciding who to vote for in this election. Obama did not create the deficit before coming into office. He did not send our troops over to fight? However he did find Bin Laden and eliminate him after 9-11. Romney has admitted to being for the rich. Use your heads Logan County, we look like idiots standing as a Republican state! How embarrassing that all we are concerned with is coal, when so many factors are of equal importance!
