Joe opposing Buck Wild

Last Sunday’s Logan Banner ran an article that clearly demonstrates why Joe Manchin is incompetent and unfit to be a U.S. Senator. The article announced that Joe had sent a request to the producers at MTV to ask them to remove the new realty TV show “Buck Wild” from their new season’s venue. The show follows a group of apparently irresponsible and reckless teens in Sissonville as they behave immaturely.
According to Joe, such a program is a poor representation of the good people of West Virginia. When I saw the article I went ballistic (ask my wife!). Is this really the most important thing our U. S. Senator has to do these days? This smacks of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic!
Our nation’s economy is teetering on the brink of complete collapse and this is what a U.S. Senator feels he should be doing? Really?
Hey Joe, please forgive me for waking you up from your afternoon nap, but … “The house is on fire!” Your buddy Obama has already ran the credit cards up triple the amount of the guy before him and he wants to spend even more in the next four years. Joe, how are you and your cronies in D.C. going to pay that bill? Tell us that Joe!
The truth is Joe Manchin and every other professional politician out there knows that most people aren’t paying attention. Most Americans are asleep in front of the TV, watching another reality show. So, how better to gain votes … talk about reality TV! The TV zombies understand that.
So Joe mines for votes by coming to our rescue to protect our dignity by demanding that MTV take this program off the air. How stupid. What a waste of a Senator you have become Joe. You are a phony and far more of a disgrace to our State than these foolish kids in Sissonville. At least they never claimed to be anything more than what they are. You, on the other hand, took an oath of office to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution against all aggressors, foreign and domestic. Which part of the Constitution does this fall under Joe?
Elite politicians like Joe Manchin want to be seen as caring, down to earth and real. So, they are extremely careful to maintain appearance above all else. Appearance is everything to an empty suit. So their first concern in every issue is “How will it be perceived”. Real men on the other hand, could give a flip what kind of appearance they make. Real men act and speak from a standard of their core values and beliefs. They do what is right, not because of how it is perceived, but because it is right. Phonies like Joe act and speak from what is politically expedient and popular.
I think I will write the MTV producers too. Only I’ll suggest a new realty show; one that follows the footsteps of Joe Manchin and Nick Rahall as they gallivant through the numerous parties and social events of Washington. Let’s see what they do with their time? Let’s watch them ride around in their chauffer driven limousines, attend fund raisers for Obama and dance the night away on our dime! Let’s see what really goes on in the lives of our beloved West Virginia Congressmen and Senators. My bet is it would look nothing like the real men who founded this once great nation. In fact, my bet is it would look a lot like the MTV show Joe is opposing … Buck Wild … only he is doing it with our bucks!

I know you know the truth; Joe, now that he has 6 years at the trough, is flipping the bird to WV.
I am pushing 72 and applied for VA comp. They told me that the three GSW I received 46 years ago have improved. How about that? I wore a still plate in my arm for 25 years, have teflon injections in one of my vocal cords, and experience a lot of scar tissue in my shoulder. along with an elbow that pops like .22 several times a day.
It is not going to end until the Feds have total control of the populace.

I don't usually do this, but if you are a VN Vet Brother, you have in fact had 3 GSW's while serving in VN, you have been denied an increase in compensation due to said GSW's, please give me a heads-up. jack_4ral@suddenlink.net

I bet if Manchin were in a small boat and water was coming in fast he would be talking about anything other than plugging the damn hole; the democrats would be arranging the boat furniture and talking about climate change or eating caviar and continue to ignore that big gaping hole sucking air out of the lifeboat until they find themselves in freezing water without a life vest and a mile from shore. Like Nero fiddled when Rome burned, the democrats fiddle as America goes bankrupt!
