LOGAN – The City of Logan plans on bringing 2013 in with a bang. The City is sponsoring a fireworks display, which will take place at midnight on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, on Reservoir Hill.

“We are trying to give a little something back to the community,” said Logan Mayor Serafino Nolletti, “This gives residents a place to come to have a good time with family and friends, drink some hot cocoa and see the New Year in.”

There will be no snacks or drinks available there; it is strictly bring-your-own cocoa event.

In Chapmanville, a Watch Service will begin at 8 p.m. at Chapmanville Regional High School auditorium on New Year’s Eve. Change of Heart, Chuck Compton, Dave Miller, Turnaround and Mike Upright will be singing and Shane Bryant, Johnny Slazo, Chad Neil, Daniel Hensley and Joey Kennedy will be preaching.
