Action continued last weekend in the Coalfield Youth Soccer League at the Mullins Athletic Complex in Chapmanville.
In the 12-and-under division, the Bulldogs defeated the Scorpions 6-2 as Walter MacNamara and Steven Clemens each scored a three-goal hat trick for the winners. Reese Ellis, Dominique Jackson scored for the Scorpions.
In the 16-and-under division, the Ninjas beat the Legends 4-2. Hunter Napier and and Richard Ojeda netted two goals apiece for the winners. Mara Mazzaocchi and Nathaniel Collier had a goal each for the Legends.
Also in the 12-and-under division, the Red Dragons were a 5-2 winner over the Sharks. Kaylee Bowe led the Red Dragons with two goals. Destiny Jackson, Hailey Chewning and Ryan Belcher reached the net once. The Sharks’ two goals were scored by Alexis Adkins and Sara Preston.
The Golden Eagles also shut out the Warriors 1 to nill as Jayde Kuenzel tallied the only goal of the match.
