Murder, suicide at Dingess

DINGESS — The West Virginia State Police have released some of the details on a reported murder-suicide at Dingess.

According to the release, on Sunday, November 18, at approximately 9:37 p.m. Troopers assigned to the Williamson Detachment of the West Virginia State Police responded to a shots fired call on the East Fork at Twelve Pole.

According to witnesses, Mr. William Warren Browning, 45, and Ms. Teri Ann Browning, 32, both of Dingess, had been engaged in a domestic altercation prior to shots being fired.

The preliminary investigation reveals that Mr. Browning shot Ms. Browning and then shot himself resulting in both their deaths.

Two juveniles were removed from the residence by Child Protection Services.
