Action continued in the Coalfield Youth Soccer League on Oct. 20 at the Mullins Soccer Complex at Chapmanville as four matches were played.

In the 16-and-under division, the undefeated Ninjas defeated the Legends 6-1 behind the two-goal effort of Hunter Napier. Joey Vinson, Richard Ojeda, Allie Harper and Walker Jeffery all scored goals for the Ninjas. Nathaniel Collier netted the only goal for the Legends.

In the 12-and-under division, the Red Dragons won 6-0 over the Sharks. Hailey Chewning and Destiny Jackson tallied two goals apiece for the winners. John Justice also scored a goal. The other goal was scored into the Shark’s own net.

The Bulldogs were a 6-1 winner over the Scorpions in another 12-and-under match. Walter MacNamara scored five goals to lead the Bulldogs. Aidan Napier had the other goal. The Scorpions’ only goal was netted by Savannah Toney.

In the other match, the Warriors won 1-0 over the Golden Eagles behind a goal from Alyssa Chambers.
