Ninjas, Bulldogs finish unbeaten in Coalfield Youth Soccer League

CHAPMANVILLE — The Chapmanville-based Coalfield Youth Soccer League closed out its fall season last Saturday with a host of matches.

The 16-and-under Ninjas and the 12-and-under Bulldogs finished the season undefeated.

The Ninjas won 8-1 over the Legends. Hunter Napier and Richard Ojeda each had a three-goal hat trick for the winners. Walker Jeffrey also had a goal. The other goal was scored into the Legends’ own net. Taylor Phillips had the only goal scored for the Legends.

The Red Dragons won 3-0 over the Scorpions in 12-and-under action. Destiny Jackson had two goals and Kaylee Bowe one.

The Bulldogs were a 7-0 winner over the Sharks. Walter McNamara tallied five goals for the Bulldogs. Aidan Napier and Steven Clemons had one goal apiece.

In the 9-and-under division, the Golden Eagles were a 6-0 victor over the Broncos. Abigail Polisano kicked in two goals for the Golden Eagles. Peyton Adams, Jayde Kuenzel, Austin Mills and Krysteea Mullins all had a goal.

The Warriors won 2-0 over the Sharks behind goals from Alanna Tomblin and Isaac Setser.
