Lady Billies statebound!

The Man High School softball team wrapped up the Class A Region 3 championship and a trip to this week’s state tournament in Vienna with Friday night’s 16-0 win over Fayetteville in the region final at Man. Holding the regional championship trophy are seniors Summer Sword and Taylor Tomblin. The Lady Billies (20-5) are making their first state tourney berth since 2010 and are slated to open play on Wednesday at noon against Moorefield (26-3). Turn to sports for full details.
