Brett Musick has done it again.

Not once.

Not twice.

But three times.

Musick, a Logan County native, won the 2011 ATV MX National Series championship in the 90cc modified division for ages 8-15 and is striving for more success in the current 2012 season.

Musick, who has been racing in the series since the tender age of eight, raced in 11 events, which were held in Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio and Maryland.

The series championship would not be decided until the final round, which was held at Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.

Musick and his strongest competitor were tied with five wins each in the point standings.

This would be a winner take all scenario.

Musick, with his eyes set on the championship, was focused for that top spot on the podium.

He pulled both hole shots and took both moto over all wins.

This gave Musick his sixth win for the overall 2011 series championship.

Once again, Musick was crowned “National Champion.”

Musick started his 2012 race season in March no longer as a privateer, but as a member of the Media All-Star team.

He has also made the step up to the 450 class after turning 16.

Musick is racing the Production B class, and the 450 B Class.

Musick already has four races under his belt in the 2012 racing season and is undefeated. He has won every moto and overall in both classes.

Musick is the only competitor in the National Series that has not lost a race. This includes all pro racers and amateurs. He is currently on a 20-moto win streak.

Musick continues to work hard for the 2012 season. He hopes to win two national championships this year and maintain his undefeated season.

Musick’s goals don’t stop there though.

He is hoping to wrap up the “B” class championship at the end of Round 8 enabling him to make the step up to the “A” class and “Pro Am” classes.

Musick has made an enormous accomplishment stepping up from the youth classes to the 450 classes this year and has been dominant in both divisions.

Musick is sponsored by Tri-State Mine Service, Scott Ellis, Media Allstars, Baldwin Motor Sports, PEP Suspension, Rath Racing, Lonestar, Walsh, Musick Photography, Quad Tech, Maxxis Tires, Buche’s ATV Tires, Valley Natural Gas, ONE Industries, Smith Optics, Power Madd, Oury Gripps, Fasst-Flexx Bars, SSI Decals, Maxima Lubricants, Aunt Sharon Harris, Grandparents Paul and Patty Lowe, Sister Brittani Lowe, and parents CD and Crissy Musick.

Brett also receives help from Motorcycle Sales and Kawasaki and Suzuki and also from Keefer’s.
