Library hosts “Man on the Move” walk

The Buffalo Creek Memorial Library hosted its 6th annual “Man on the Move” walk Saturday, April 14, at 9 a.m. Approximately 100 walkers participated in the event. This walk was to encourage a more active lifestyle. All participants were given a free t-shirt courtesy of Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College, and pedometers courtesy of West Virginia on the Move. Hearing testing and diabetes testing was available. Door prizes were donated by area businesses. If you are interested in walking, a group meets at 9 a.m. every Saturday morning for a walk through South Man. For more information call the library at 304-583-7887.
