PRIDE debuts Intergenerational Center

PRIDE Community Services will debut their new and fully operational Mill Creek Intergenerational Center Wed. August 27. This is a center that will house a Senior Center and a Head Start Center in the same facility. The facility is located in the former Victory Freewill Baptist Church.“This is a win-win for everyone,” Executive Director Reginald Jones said. “We get to provide more options for the children and seniors in the area; the children and seniors have this opportunity for interaction that they didn’t have before, and having them in the same center lowers our costs to open up more money for further projects.”


Boil water advisory

The City of Logan Water Department has issued a boil water advisory for all of Hospital Drive, Buskirk Avenue and Logan Concrete until further notice.
