It’s not going to get any easier for the Man High School boys’ basketball team.
The young and inexperienced Hillbillies fell to 0-3 on the season with Saturday night’s 88-42 loss at Oak Hill.
Man, coached by first-year mentor T.J. Blevins, have lost three games by 30, 40 and 46 points.
Zach Cook led Man in the Oak Hill game with 19 points. Tyler Ekins had six points, while Trey Whitt and Andrew Spaulding pitched in four points each. Matthew Spaulding had three and Michael Sorrell and Trace Fekete had two each.
Oak Hill is now 1-1 on the season.
Oak Hill led 19-10 after one quarter, 50-22 at the half and 70-31 after three.
The Billies play at River View on Tuesday in a 7:30 p.m. tip, then take on Mount View on Dec. 22 in the first round of the Bob Runyon Memorial Holiday Tournament at Chapmanville Regional High School.
Man will then take on Pikeview or Chapmanville on Dec. 23 on the final night of the holiday tourney.
Man lost 100-70 to Mount View on Dec. 13 in the season opener.
