CMS rolls over Hamlin 54-26

CHAPMANVILLE — It was a happy homecoming game for the Chapmanville Middle School football team on Monday.

The Tigers rolled over the Hamlin Bobcats, 54-26, at Chapmanville’s Tiger Stadium.

Eight different players scored for CMS.

Those players were: Issac Dixon (kick return and a pick-six interception return); Andrew Williams (receiving TD from QB Chase Berry); and Trey Pancake, Josh Bumgarner, Nick Ramey, Colton Craddock and Reed Dingess, who all scored on rushing touchdowns.

Berry, Bumgarner and Ramey also scored on two-point conversion runs.

CMS, coached by Jason Maynard, has two games this week and next play at Madison on Thursday.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
