CHAPMANVILLE — Week 6 action is now in the books for the Coalfield Youth Soccer League.
Several big matches were played last week at the Mullins Soccer Complex at Sawmill Road in Chapmanville.
The undefeated u17 Fusion defeated Phoenix 12-4. Hunter Napier led the Fusion with five goals and Cameron Adkins netted three. Kimberly Lambert, Stephen Clemons and Mitchell Bryant scored one goal each. An own goal was also counted. Paul Vinson led Phoenix with three goals and Walter Macnamara had one.
The u17 Kryptonite beat the Fury 10-1. Dillon Renniger led Kryptonite with seven goals and Savannah Toney netted three. Desiree Wise scored the only goal for Fury.
The two undefeated U12 teams met with the Toxic Shock beating out the Predators 6-5. Jacob Walls led Toxic Shock with four goals. Ethan Spence netted one. An own goal was also counted. Peyton Adams led the Predators with a hat trick. Xavier Trump and Kip Justice scored one each.
The u12 Vikings beat Infinity 10-1. Riley Reed led the Vikings with three goals. Allie Burton and Andrew McCarty had two each. Dylan Watkins, Kendra Ooten and Anthony Furtuna netted one each. Cayce Rayburn scored the only goal for Infinity.
The U12 White Lightning defeated the Vipers 8-1. Anthony Page, Peyton Thompson, and Jamari Turner netted two each for White Lightning. Madison Hoffman and Payton Hoffman each scored one. Charity Toth scored for the Vipers.
The U9 Hot Shots beat the Neon Avengers 3-2 in overtime penalty kicks. Donna Robinson scored for the Hot Shots. Tanner Clay and Hunter Adams both scored on penalty kicks.
The U9 Chaos beat the Master of Disaster 9-0. Kendan Trent led the Chaos with five goals. Westin Atkins and Brayden Bishop scored two each.
The U9 Coal Diggers beat the Stingers 13-3. Garrett Dean led the Coal Diggers with four goals. Damon Moore and Tyler Oney tallied three each. Leland Anderson netted two and Ryan Bell scored one. Bryson Smith scored two for the Stingers and Cameran Arthur scored one.
The Aztec Warriors edged out the Grape Apes 3-2. Michael Ojeda scored two for the Aztec Warriors and Baylie Crum netted one. Brionna Crawford and Emily Runyon scored for the Grape Apes.
The U9 Snake Kings beat the Stingers 7-0. Michael Havis led the Snake Kings with five goals. Austin Ball and Micha Gable scored one each.
Action is scheduled to resume next this weekend for make-up games.
