The Chapmanville, Man and Tug Valley high school cheerleading teams are headed to next month’s state tournament.

Man is making its third straight trip to the state tourney.

The Hillbillies were Class A state runner-ups the last two years.

Man won the Class A regional championship on Saturday afternoon at the Charleston Civic Center. Tug Valley was second.

Both advanced to the state tournament, which is set for Friday, Dec. 11, also at the Civic Center.

Chapmanville also moved on to the state tournament with Saturday’s second place finish in its Double-A regional tourney. Tolsia won the regional title and also advanced. Both teams are members of the Cardinal Conference.
