Tigers ranked No. 10 in Class AA

The Chapmanville Regional High School boys’ basketball team remains in the top 10 in this week’s Class AA poll.

The Tigers (4-2) are ranked No. 10 in the state.

Sitting in the No. 1 spot in Chapmanville’s Cardinal Conference foe the Poca Dots, the Class AA defending state champions. The Dots are 5-2 after going 1-2 last week at the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Chapmanville hosts Poca on Saturday night.

Tolsia (6-2) is tied for 10th place with Chapmanville. The Rebels are also a member of the Cardinal Conference.

Huntington (5-0) is ranked No. 1 in the state this week in Class AAA. The Highlanders are the defending state champs.

Wheeling Central (8-0) is rated No. 1 this week in Class A. Tug Valley (5-0) is second. Man received one vote.
