The Man High School boys’ basketball team is having a fine season.

The Hillbillies, now 10-3 on the season, are still ranked No. 10 in the state in this week’s Class A Associated Press High School Basketball Poll.

Man is the only Logan County team — boys or girls — to break into the top 10.

The Chapmanville Regional boys received votes this week but are outside of the top 10 in Double-A.

Undefeated teams Huntington and Morgantown, both 10-0 on the season are one, two in the Class 3A poll this week.

Defending state champion Poca (10-2) is No. 1 in Class AA. Bridgeport (7-0) is second. Wyoming East (8-2) is seventh.

Wheeling Central (11-0) sits atop the Class A rankings, while Tug Valley (9-1) is second.

On the girls’ side, Morgantown (13-0) is first in 3A and Huntington (13-0) is second.

Undefeated Wyoming East (15-0) is No. 1 in the 2A poll. Lincoln (13-0) and Summers County (12-0) are second and third. Cardinal Conference team Sissonville (8-2) is sixth. Wayne (11-2), another Cardinal team, is 10th.

In Class A, Huntington St. Joe (11-1) is first and Tucker County (11-2) second.
