Tigers’ Williamson 2nd in conf. in scoring

Drew Williamson continues to impress.

Williamson, Chapmanville Regional High School’s sophomore guard, began the week second in the Cardinal Conference in scoring at 20.3 points per game.

Poca’s Elijah Cuffee is first at 21.4 points per contest.

Herbert Hoover’s Matt Justice (19.9) is third, Poca’s Luke Frampton (18.8) is fourth and Scott’s Tanner Bell (18.6) is fifth.

Chapmanville’s Dylan Smith, who averages 11.1 points per game, is also among the conference leaders.

The Tigers, 10-7 overall and 5-5 in the conference, were scheduled to play at Sissonville on Tuesday night. CRHS hosts Wayne on Friday night and Tolsia on Saturday evening. The finale is Feb. 23 at Man.
