CLEAR FORK — The Logan High School softball team increased its winning streak to three games with Tuesday night’s 16-2 victory on the road at Westside.
Logan (6-4) pounded out 18 hits in the onslaught.
Jaden Oney led the way as she was 4-for-4 with a double and three RBI.
Mahoghani Patton had three hits and drove in a run.
Hannah Vance also had two hits and an RBI for the Lady Cats. Hana Sedlock had two hits, including a double, and one RBI.
Kelsey Ward also had two hits and an RBI. Taylor Napier also had two hits in the win.
Steph Curry and Chelsea Napier each had a hit and an RBI. Jacee Abbott and Amber Stone both singled.
Logan scored five runs in the top of the first inning and then broke the game wide open with an 11-run outburst in the fifth.
Curry was the starting and winning pitcher for the Lady Cats. She hurled four innings and allowed just two hits. Ward then hurled the final inning.
Logan routed Scott 11-1 on Wednesday afternoon at home to improve to 7-4 on the season. Kelsey Ward hit two home runs for Logan and Monica Mitchell hit one homer. Ward was 3-for-3 with four RBI.
Ward also pitched the complete game win.

LHS hosts Man on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Point Pleasant on Friday in another 5:30 clash.
* The Chapmanville Regional High School softball team was scheduled to play at Wayne on Tuesday and the Man High School softball squad was slated to play at Wyoming East, however, no scores or statistics were reported to The Logan Banner.
