The Man High School softball team improved to 17-4 on the season after beating Class AA Westside 5-1 on Thursday night at home.
Haylee Daniels got the win on the mound while Emilee Walker came in and picked up the save for the Lady Billies.
Man got on the scoreboard first win a run in the home half of the first inning.
Emilee Toler got hit by a Aly Fleenor pitch and later scored on an RBI single by Sydney Keffer.
The Lady Renegades tied the game up at 1-1 in the top of the third frame off Daniels.
The Lady Billies then plated three runs in the bottom of the third inning off Fleenor to take the lead for good.
Tori Doty got hit by a pitch and Chelsie Vance then singled. Both scored on an RBI single by Savannah McCormack to give MHS for 3-1 lead. Man added another run as McCormack later scored on an RBI by Keffer to give Man a 4-1 advantage.
Walker then came in and slammed the door on the Lady Renegades in the final innings while Man added an insurance run in the bottom of the fourth inning. Maddy Paynter singled and later came around to score on an RBI single by Toler.
Man was led in hitting by McCormack with hit and two RBIs, while Toler had hit a one RBI. Keffer added a hit and an RBI.
Grace Cline had a single, Vance, Cydnee Lambert and Paynter added singles in the victory. Ashton Lester and Fleenor had two hits each for the Lady Renegades in the losing cause.
Man played an error free game. Westside had one error.
The Lady Billies were slated to play at Mount View on Saturday. Man hosts Van on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
