CYSL: Noe nets three goals for Blue Inferno

Dino Noe is a heck of a basketball player.

The Logan High School student is also a heck of a soccer player.

Noe scored a hat trick last weekend to lead his Blue Inferno team to a 7-2 win over the Grey Skulls in a 17-and-under Coalfield Youth Soccer League match.

Joey Vinson also had two goals and Walker Jeffery and Kyle Browning had one each. The Skulls got a goal from Dillon Renninger and an own goal was counted.

In a 12-and-under match, the White Lightning crushed the Grasshoppers, 16-3. Madison Hoffman and Anthony Page had three each for the Lightning, while Jamari Turner and Abigail Nagy tallied two each and Jenna Tomblin, Corey Fillinger, Luke Spurlock, Madison Mullins, Sydney Young and Payton Hoffman had one each. For the Grasshoppers, Nicholas Sutherland, Hannah Kennedy and Kirsten Millner all scored goals.

The Grasshopper also beat Infinity 2-1 in the continuation of a makeup match that went to penalty shots. Charity Toth and Aden Runyon had one goal each for the Grasshoppers. Jaxon Tipton scored the lone goal for Infinity.

Infinity also won 7-5 over the Thundercats. Tipton had six goals for the winners while Matthew Smith also scored. For the Thundercats, Angel Conley had two goals and Damon Moore, Kaylie Toler and Alea Meade all had one each.

Havoc was a 7-3 winner over the Vikings as Jesse Justice and Brayden Likens each scored a hat trick. Michael Ojeda also netted a goal. For the Vikings, Brooklyn White had two goals and Allie Burton one.

The Warriors swatted the Wasps 18-7. Kaleb Burford led the Warriors with eight goals while Landon Bourne had five, Raelynn Mendez three and Dylan Mendez two. Briar Harvey had six goals to lead the Wasps. Braeden Smith also tallied a goal.

The Grape Apes shut out the Giants 13 to nil. James Thompson led the way with four goals. Jacob Deer and Jacob Kinser had two each, while Blake Browning, Brandon Altizer, Zoe Viars and Isaac Affolter all had one goal. An own goal was also counted.

The Coal Diggers dug out a 9-8 win over the Sharks. Tyler Oney led the Diggers with four goals while Cammye Kovach had three and Garrett Dean and Leland Anderson had one each. For the Sharks, Jonathan Ferrell had four goals, Brackston Kirk three and Isabella Rodighiero one. The Coal Diggers won on penalty kicks 5-4.

The Masters of Disaster won 8-6 over the Crusaders as Madison Haugen and Carter Neal netted three goals each. Hallie Crouse and Josiah Pack had one each. For the Crusaders, Caycee Mullins had five and Micah Goble one.

Chaos won 8-4 over the Orange Crush as Westin Adkins netted six goals and Rilee Hatfield two. For the Crush, Gavin Noe had two and Darian Woods and Savannah Carpenter had one each.
