The Blue Inferno took the 17-and-under Coalfield Youth Soccer League championship recently with a 5-1 win over the Grey Skulls.
Dino Noe scored two goals for the Blue Inferno. Kyle Browning, Walker Jeffery and Joey Vinson had one goal each. Dillon Renninger scored for the Grey Skulls.
The Havoc were a 7-2 winner over the White Lightning in the 12-and-under championship game. Brayden Likens led the way with five goals and Jesse Justice had two. Jamari Turner had both goals for the Lightning.
The Infinity were a 14-2 winner over the Thundercats in a U12 match as Jaxon Tipton scored nine goals. Matthew Smith had four goals and Ayden Endicott one. Alea Meade and Blake Bryant tallied one goal each for the Thundercats.
In the U12 third-place game, the Vikings won 9-2 over the Grasshoppers. Peyton Thompson scored a hat trick to lead the winners. Bralen Adams had two goals and Allie Burton, Emily Runyon, Brooklyn White and Diesel Bryant all had one each. Aden Runyon netted both goals for the Grasshoppers.
In the U9 championship match, the Chaos won 10-4 over the Warriors. For the Chaos, Kendan Trent had five goals, Westin Adkins four and Connor White one. Kaleb Burford tallied all four goals for the Warriors.
In the U9 third-place game, the Orange Crush prevailed 8-4 over the Avalanche. For the Crush, Gavin Noe tallied six goals and Conner Higginbotham had two. For the Avs, Aiden Baker tallied two goals and Trevin Gaylock and Chloe Baker had one apiece.
In other U9 action, the Coal Diggers routed the Strikers 17-4 as Cammye Kovach and Garrett Dean had four goals each. Leland Anderson and Gavin Stollings each scored a hat trick, while Tyler Oney, Hunter Bryant and Trinity Trump all had one each. For the Strikers, Lexi Gillman and Braydon Craddock netted two each.
The Grape Apes won 9-5 over the Crusaders. James Thompson scored four goals for the Grape Apes, while Jacob Deer and Brandon Altizer had two each. Issac Affolter also scored a goal. For the Crusaders, Caycee Mullins netted all five goals.
The Wasps won 14 to nil over the Giants as Briar Harvey had 11 goals. Landon Hale had two and Braeden Smith one.
The Master of Disasters won 8-3 over the White Sharks behind the four-goal effort of Madison Haugen. Josiah Pack, Hallie Crouse, Garrin Hatfield and Emma Watkins all had one goal each. For the White Sharks, Jonathan Ferrell netted all three goals.
