Godbyball champions


The Sean Senator Family Dentistry Skyhawk Team from Madison won the 34th annual First Baptist Church of McConnell Godbyball Summer Basketball League and first place tournament on Tuesday, July 18 at the old Logan East Gym. Never had a team outside of Logan County won the championship title until this year. These young men had a 10-1 recorded and defeated two of the best teams in the league to claim the tournament championship. The team was made up of Marcus Linville, Jonathan Elkins, Levi Gore, Tanner Bell, Anthony Sigmon and not pictured were: Jagger Bell and Dave Ward. Marcus Linville was named Most Valuable Player of the League. These young men exhibited manners and good sportsmanship alone with their basketball talent.
