It’s Week Two of the high school preseason this Saturday as the Logan and Chapmanville high school football teams are scheduled to take part in the Cardinal Conference Gridorama at the Scott High School footbal team in Madison.
Chapmanville Regional is scheduled to kickoff the gridorama on Saturday with a 10:15 a.m. matchup with the Winfield Generals.
Winfield, one of three new members to the Cardinal Conference this fall, is a former Class AAA school.
Chapmanville and Winfield are scheduled to meet for real on Oct. 21 at Chapmanville’s Tiger Stadium during the regular season.
Logan then is set to play in Game 4 at 5 p.m. against Mingo Central. The teams are not slated to meet until the 2017 season.
Chapmanville scrimmaged at Valley Fayette last Saturday, while Logan had a preseason test against Tug Valley and Paintsville (Ky.) at Tug Valley High School.
Man High School is set to scrimmage at River View on Saturday with a matchup against Grundy (Va.).
Logan hosts Man on Aug. 25 in the regular season opener. Chapmanville travels to Sissonville the next night.
Both have 7:30 kickoffs.

Nitro vs. Sissonville, 12:15 p.m.
Herbert Hoover vs. Poca, 2:45 p.m.
Logan vs. Mingo Central, 5 p.m.
Scott vs. Wayne, 7:15 p.m.
