Logan soccer blanked by Indians, beats Belfry

LOGAN, W.Va. — The Logan High School soccer team split in its most recent action, blanking Belfry (Ky.) 1-0 on Saturday at home and getting shut out 7-0 at Sissonville last Thursday night.

Logan, fielding a soccer squad for the first time in school history, currently stand at 4-5-1 on the season. The Wildcats are 1-3-1 in the Cardinal Conference.

No further information was available on the two matches as of presstime.

Logan is scheduled to return to action with this Saturday’s conference match at Herbert Hoover. Kickoff is 11 a.m.

LHS then plays at Belfry on Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. before hosting Mingo Central on Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
