FALLING ROCK, W.Va. — The Logan High School soccer team dropped to 4-6-1 on the season with Saturday’s 6-0 loss at Herbert Hoover in Cardinal Conference action.

Logan coach Jay Trump said his team did not play that well.

“Hoover plays on a grass field and we juste don’t play well on grass,” Trump said. “We had players off due to the Logan formal and that left us short-handed for backup players. The players that was there played their hearts out.”

Logan was scheduled to host Huntington St. Joe on Tuesday night. Logan is scheduled to play at Belfry (Ky.) on Saturday at 10 a.m., then host Mingo Central on Oct. 6. LHS plays at Tug Valley on Oct. 10.
