The Logan High School football team dropped its fourth straight game and second straight to a Class AAA school as the Wildcats lost 34-22 at Greenbrier East on Friday night at Lewisburg.
The Wildcats now stand at 3-4 after starting out the season 3-0.
Logan had lost 13-6 on the road last week at John Marshall, another Triple-A school.
Logan quarterback Jamal Minter rushed for two of Logan’s touchdowns and also scored on a 2-point conversion.
Braxton Goff caught a TD pass for the Cats and also scored a 2-point conversion.
Shawntez Matthews also scored a touchdown for Logan.
No further details or game statistics were available as of presstime.
The Wildcats will try to get back on track this Friday night as Sissonville comes to Logan to take on the Cats in the regular season home finale for LHS.
Sissonville, a Cardinal Conference school, is 6-1 overall and 6-1 in league action. The Indians rolled over Nitro 48-26 on Friday night.
Logan, playing a limited Cardinal schedule in its first season back in the conference, currently stand at 1-1 in league games.
