Tigers roar back to state tournament


The Chapmanville Regional High School boys’ basketball team celebrate on Thursday night after the Tigers beat Sissonville 57-55 in the Region 4 co-final at CRHS. The victory moved Chapmanville (17-8) into the Class AA state tournament for the second time in the last three years. The Tigers are the No. 8 seed and are slated to take on No. 1 Poca (23-2) on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the first round of the Class AA state tourney at the Charleston Civic Center.
