Registration underway at Southern


MUD FORK — Summer is a great time to register for fall classes; you’ll have time to play, enjoy the beach, and relax knowing that your college schedule is set. Fall classes fill up quickly and many classes are now at a limited seating status.

Programs include Central Sterile Supply, Medical Laboratory Assistant, Behavioral Health, Welding, Cosmetology, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Office Administration, Early Childhood Education and Criminal Justice are a few with a limited availability.

Students of any age who possess the desire to pursue higher education are welcome at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College. Southern is proud of its academic excellence, new facilities, flexible schedules, small classes, low tuition and faculty with both academic and “real world” credentials. Southern’s committed and knowledgeable staff is dedicated to helping students achieve their educational goals.

Southern offers over 50 programs, transfer options, financial aid and scholarships, as well as access to baccalaureate degrees through agreement programs with several universities.
