The First Baptist Church of Logan recognized three students for graduation on Sunday, May 20, 2012, during the morning service.
Graduates recognized were Matthew Greene, Samantha Hutton and Caleb Turner. Matthew and Caleb graduated from high school and Samantha Hutton graduated from Nursing. Pastor Tim Barnhouse presented each graduate with gifts from the church.
Special speaker was Rev. Juan Aragon, who spoke on “Get up! He’s calling you!”
Following the morning service, a dinner was held in the fellowship hall
In other church news,
An evening of good music, good food, and good fellowship was held on May 27. Beginning at 5 p.m., grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixings, including assorted desserts, and assorted beverages was served and good fellowship was enjoyed during dining. At 6:30 p.m., guests were entertained by the “West Virginians” from AB College with some good music.
