The Logan County Public Service District has issued and lifted several boil water notices. On Monday, the area from Claypool to Huff Creek was placed under an advisory due to and interruption of service.

The LCPSD recommends boiling water for one minute before using or use bottled water. Customers will be notified when it is no longer necessary to boil water.

Also on Sunday, the Chapmanville Water Department issued a boil water notice due to a break in the main water line at Garretts Fork. That same break also was the reason the LCPSD issued a boil water advisory for the areas of Garretts Fork, Trace Fork to Big Ugly, Big Creek to Harts Creek, Chapmanville, Crawley Creek, Sunset Court and Ridgeview on Monday. The LCPSD advisory for the Garrett Fork break was lifted Tuesday, November 7. Boil water advisories for the Upper Striker Fork and Marsh Fork, along with the boil water advisory for Upper Craddock Fork, was also lifted by The LCPSD. Those advisories were issued November 2.

For more info, customers can call the LCPSD at 304-946-2641 or the Chapmanville Water Department at 304-855-3227.
