HENLAWSON, W.Va. — Ervin Williams, 72, of Henlawson, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born January 10, 1940, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late Ed and Stella Rakes Williams. Also preceding him in death were two children, Connie Stella Williams and Glenn Ray Williams; stepmother, Irma Williams; three brothers, Wilburn, Author and Clifford Williams, and one sister Lucille Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 44 years, Eleanor Williams; his children, Joyce (Stephen) Browning of Ethel, Ronnie Williams (Brenda Hall) of Glen Williams, and Rhonda (Kevin) Johnson of Henlawson; Ervin was blessed with three grandsons, Austin Johnson, Christopher Browning and Glen Williams Jr. Ervin, who was the oldest, is also survived his siblings, Pearl (the late Jay) Bradley, Linda (the late Bob) Hager, Jewell (the late Leonard) Rainwater, Arlene (Virgil) Knipp, Brenda (Gary) Griffen, Joyce (Bobby) Rollyson, Cathy (Steven) Trimble, Lest (Jeanie) Williams, Curley (Trish) Williams, Earl (Brenda) Williams, Freeman (Patty) Williams, Virgil (Mary) Williams, Ed (Melissa) Williams Jr., Rodney (Treasha) Williams and Danny (Lynn) Williams; a host of stepbrothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews, and two very special cousins Dale and Billy Williams.

Ervin was loved and will be missed by many and he will remain in our hearts forever.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, at Honaker Funeral Home with Rev. Nick Adams officiating.

Visitation will be from 6t-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
