HARTS, W.Va. — Flora Adams, 71, of Harts, departed this life Thursday, November 15, 2012, at her residence.


Born April 13, 1941, at Harts, she was a daughter of the late Pat Riffe and Lucy Williams. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Tennis Adams Sr.; two sons, Tennis Adams Jr. and Timmy Adams; one brother, Don Riffe; one son-in-law, Lon Leslie Lewis III, and her very special friend, Jimmy Adams.


Flora enjoyed spending time with her family especially her great-grandbabies, and camping, gardening, listening to gospel and bluegrass music.


Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Amy (Tim) Kinder of Harts, who were her caregivers, Angela (Richard) Smith of Huntington, and Donna (Roger) Harvey of Charleston; three sisters, Inis Adams, Joann (Hiwatha) Adams and Judy (Glen) Conley; six brothers, Leo Riffe, Dave (Susie) Riffe, Earl (Beverly) Riffe, Lester Riffe, Cleve (Mavis) Riffe and Arland Riffe; five grandchildren, Jami (Justin) Bryant, Keisha (Jaci) Kinder, Jacey (Tommy) Lewis, Melissa and Taylor Harvey, and three great-grandchildren, Dustin, Blake and Dylan Bryant.


Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 19, at Freeman Funeral Home with Auther Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery at Harts.


Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


Pallbearers will be Justin Bryant, Tommy Norman, Phillip Riffe, Daniel McCloud, Willie Adams and Alvie Adams.


Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Kinder, Richard Smith and Dustin Bryant.


Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
