HENLAWSON, W.Va. — Mrs. Jeanetta Gail Farmer, 58, of Henlawson, was born February 25, 1954, at Williamson, a daughter of the late Walter Harold and Stella Jane Riffe Highley. She departed this life Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Division in Charleston.

Also preceding her in death was her brother Raymond Harold Highley, who lost his life in the Vietnam War.

Jeanetta was a proud mother of her children who served in the U.S. Army. She was a very caring person towards other people and tried to lend a helping hand to anyone she could help. She was also a member of the Trinity Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Willis Farmer; two children, Nicole (Jerry) Dingess of Henlawson and Richard LeRoy (Nicole) Morris III of Tennessee, who is currently serving in the U.S. Army; three grandchildren, Eric Tomas Morris, Luke Jerimiah Dingess and Joseph Theodore Morris, and a host of other friends and family members.

Services will be Wednesday, December 5, at 7 p.m. at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church at Henlawson.

Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is in charge of the arrangements.
