The Alpha Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International held their annual Christmas Dinner and Ornament exchange at the Davin Baptist Church on Monday, December 3.
Following a blessing given by Nancy Noel, the ladies enjoyed a wonderful holiday meal with all the trimmings. President Donna Thibault was given a gift by the chapter for the outstanding job she does.
A musical game was presented by Sally Cline where the ‘next line’ of a song was the correct answer in the game. The prize for getting the most correct went to Gretchen Donahue. Using their birth month, ladies selected from ornaments brought by each member.
Sally Cline led the ladies in singing of traditional Christmas Carols which prompted her to say “Ladies we should have a chorus from this group”.
All agreed that that this gathering of women educators left this party in “The Christmas Spirit”.
