PECKS MILL, W.Va. — Mr. Leslie Eugene Adams Jr., devoted son, beloved father, brother and cherished uncle and nephew, departed this life Thursday, December 20, 2012.
Born September 7, 1973, in Newport News, Va., he was a son of Leslie “Blue” and Judy Adams of Pecks Mill.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Earnest and Maudie Evans and Leslie and Betty Adams, and one uncle, William Evans.
Eugene was loved by so many. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
Additionally, those left to cherish his memory include his precious children, Haleigh and Haden Adams of Omar and Jessie Adams of Chapmanville; two sisters, Mary (Si) Easterling of Chapmanville and Sabrina Adams of Charleston; three nephews; two nieces; several aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 11a.m. Friday, December 28, at the Duncan Fork House of Prayer with Rev. Roger Ooten and Tammy Whitt officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Justin Nelson, Roger Thomas Ooten, Jason Carpenter, Jeff Sargent, Ronnie Bailey and Jason Bailey.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmie Smith, Josh Easterling, Darrell Ooten, Dennie Evans Jr., Sherman Evans and Travis Evans.
Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapmanville is serving the Adams family in handling the arrangements.
